Egypt Pictures

Me in the Red Sea! We were just across the sea from Saudi Arabia... crazy!
One of the little Beduan girls... she found Jason's aviators :)
We rode ATV's into the desert to this oasis where a group of Beduans were living

Us in front of Moses' "burning bush" at least that's what they tell us... they think they found the actual burning bush... and this is it! It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be.

Camels!
Pretty view on the hike down from Moses Mountain
Us freezing our ASSES off on the top of Moses Mountain (Mt. Sinai) just after the sunrise. Yes, that is snow on the ground... it was snowing when we were climbing up. I think I was wearing all the clothes that I brought. It was FREEZING!
Meeting the government officials of Alexandria. The bald one in the background is the governor. Hmm... who doesn't belong in this picture.... maybe the one who has been washing her clothes in the sink for the last 3 weeks?
Jason talking to some kids- aren't they cute?
Yes, that is definitely blood all over his face
Cow's head on the bus... mmm who's hungry?

My donkey! :)
Our donkeys!
The chiseled walls on a temple
Temple dedicated to Horus- god of revenge
Sunset on the Nile
Me in front of the temple at Abu Simbal temple
Dancing! :)
Dinner at the Nubian house
Egyptian sailboats- feluccas- traveling down the Nile
The marketplace at night, with the oldest Muslim university in the world in the background
One of the marketplaces in Cairo
Jason drawing the Sphinx
Brittany and me at the Pyramids on the Giza Plateau

WOW Incredible pictures. Great photography. So fun looking at this at work. I took a vacation in my mind. I imagined the thrill of seeing the lions, I felt like a little kid inside! Love you.
