We went on a walking safari at sunrise in Kruger National Park... these were our guides... and the elephant guns that they carried with them just in case we were attacked by lions...

Giraffe that we saw on our walking safari
Leopard... we got so close to this one... it was another amazing experience that I will never forget. This leopard was so beautiful!
Leopard eating an impala in a tree

The hyena that was waiting for scraps to fall from the leopard Mozambique was amazingly beautiful... but unfortunately the country is war-torn and most of the buildings there looked like this.

Tofo beach!
Sooo beautiful

Hanging out at the bar
These were some ladies that wanted to braid my hair at the beach
This was the sign that sat outside of the internet cafe in Tofo... I thought it was really funny
This is a Whale Shark. This is what I swam with in Mozambique... the swimmer in this photo is about where I was, swimming along next to the shark... it was definitely one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
Kate, me, Claire and Debbie... the med students that I hung out with on the trip :)
We did an 8 hour hike in the Drakensburg Mountains... this was the view at the top... so pretty!
Bungee jumping!!
This is the bridge that we jumped off of... it's in King's Canyon. It was so pretty... this gigantic canyon with the beautiful turquoise ocean at the end... it was gorgeous!

Strapping in...
I really hope those ropes are tight enough...
Okay... don't look down... just breathe.... get ready...
JUMP!!
Holy crap... I just jumped off a bridge!!

Kenya/Tanzania Pictures

Sunset in the Serengeti
Cheetah's! They were crossing the road to hunt a herd of gazelle... pretty amazing!
A pair of mating lions...
Me and my guides at the entrance to Serengeti National Park
The first lion that we saw! It was hanging out underneath a tree about a mile in to the park. We only saw him at first, but it turned out that he was with about 4 other lions that were hidden in the grass.
Cute little giraffe munching on a tree :)
This was the young lion that we saw just as it killed this baby zebra. It was sad, but it's just a part of life... he had to eat too...
Me with lions in the background... this was the pride of lions that surrounded our vehicles. It was pretty crazy to have all these lions around and so close to us!
The Masai village that we visited in the Serengeti
The little kids were so cute!
Another cute little boy... I seriously wanted to take home all the kids that I saw there
In the home of the chief of the village... this was his son, explaining how they live. The chief was asleep in his bed behind me :)
The beds that the Masai slept in

The chief's sister and niece... oh my gosh this little girl was so cute!
Some old Masai women in front of one of the houses
The schoolhouse just outside the village
The kids at schoolTeaching the kids how to count and do math
